Memberships Overview

Memberships give clients a recurring subscription with periodic benefits — complimentary session credits or discounts on services. The fee is charged automatically through Stripe on a monthly or yearly cycle.

How Memberships Work

  1. Create a plan — set the name, price, billing interval, and included benefits
  2. Enroll a client — requires a saved card on file; the first charge happens immediately and recurs each period
  3. Benefits refresh — session credits reset on the 1st of each calendar month; discounts stay active continuously
  4. Redeem at checkout — credits can cover a service entirely; discounts reduce the price on matching line items

Types of Benefits

Session credits grant a set number of complimentary sessions for a specific service each period (e.g. 3 × Deep Tissue Massage per month). Credits appear on the client's Memberships tab and at checkout when the service is in the cart. Unused credits do not carry over — they reset at the start of each month.

Service discounts give a percentage off a service, category, or all services (e.g. 20% off all services). Discounts have no usage limit and do not reset. If multiple rules apply, the highest discount is used on each line item.

Benefits work across all locations

A membership is enrolled at one location, but credits and discounts can be redeemed at any of your locations — no need to re-enroll per location.
